About Me

Hello! My name is Sondhayni Murmu. I'm incredibly passionate about tech and its applications--in particular how the mindset of 'engineering' and problem solving can be used for social good.

At USC, when I wasn't writing code, I was pretty involved on campus: I served as the President of USC ACM SIGGRAPH, a student organization dedicated to computer graphics things--my exec board and I puts together workshops, networking events, portfolio/resume reviews, studio tours, and more.
I was also the Co-Captain of the collegiate Indian Classical Dance team, USC Drishti. Most of the other girls on the team and I have been training in the dance form since we were toddlers, so being able to come together and share our love for it is pretty amazing.

These days, when I'm not working or coding, you can indulging in one of my (many. so many) hobbies: reading, writing, gaming, art...it's a long list.

I believe in the idea of being in constant movement. Both in the sense that the only way to get things done is to keep going, but also that it's important to remain open to other perspectives whenever they get thrown at you, nicely or otherwise. I love talking to people to learn new things I may never have realized or simply did not know--so let's talk. Even if it's not about code. Especially if it's not about code.

Something will go here, at some point.
